How to get to Can Costa – Valldemossa
Address: Historic centre, 07170 Valldemossa, Spain
Location: In the historic centre of Valldemossa, one of Mallorca’s most charming mountain villages, known for its stone streets, traditional houses, local cafés, restaurants and peaceful Tramuntana atmosphere.
1. By Taxi or Private Transfer (Recommended)
- This is the most comfortable and direct way to reach the house from Palma de Mallorca Airport.
- The drive from Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) to Valldemossa takes approximately 25–35 minutes, depending on traffic.
- A taxi usually costs between €45 and €60.
- If you’d like us to help arrange a private transfer, we recommend contacting us 3–4 days before your arrival so we can organise it in time.
2. By Public Transport
- Take the A1 airport bus to Palma Estació Intermodal.
- From there, take the TIB bus line 203 towards Valldemossa.
- The bus journey from Palma to Valldemossa takes around 30 minutes, but the total journey from the airport can take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, depending on the connection times.
- Once you arrive in Valldemossa, the house is located in the historic centre and can be reached on foot from the bus stop.

3. By Rental Car (Highly Recommended)
- Renting a car is highly recommended if you want to explore the area freely and reach nearby beaches and villages.
- The drive from the airport takes around 25–30 minutes.

Important Notes about the Area
- Please note that parking in the historic centre of Valldemossa is limited and the streets are narrow. We recommend using one of the public parking areas near the entrance of the village and walking to the house from there.
- Can Costa is located in the historic centre of Valldemossa, close to local cafés, restaurants, shops and the main sights of the village.
- The area is ideal for walking, relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere of one of Mallorca’s most beautiful mountain villages.
- Parking directly next to the house may not be possible, especially in high season, so we recommend travelling light or dropping off luggage first if access allows.
- Nearby places to visit include Deià, Sóller, Port de Valldemossa, Son Marroig and the beautiful mountain roads of the Serra de Tramuntana.
